Project: Saltworks, Bridges and Wading Birds (a walk to Saltholme)
When is it: Saturday 18th July, 11am onwards
Where is it: Starting at the Transporter Bridge (Ferry Road, TS2 1PL), crossing over to Saltholme
Who is it for: Anyone with an interest in learning more about the history of the area, or if you fancy a beautiful trip across the Tees

A bit more info: Continuing explorations of the bridges, industry and landscape around the Tees, this walk will explore the area around the transporter bridge, crossing the river on the bridge and then taking a short bus ride to RSPB saltholme where we will stop for a cuppa then take a walk round this beautiful wetland nature reserve in the heart of industrial Tesside.
